Small businesses, specifically
We build for teams without a dedicated platform engineer. That shapes every recommendation: it has to be maintainable by the people who are actually there.
The engineering discipline large platform teams use, applied at a size that makes sense for a business without one.
The practices that make large systems reliable — infrastructure as code, automated deployments, tested backups, real monitoring — are not inherently expensive. They are just usually packaged for organisations with staff to run them.
We package them for everyone else: the same discipline, sized and priced for a business where the person responsible for IT also has another job.

We build for teams without a dedicated platform engineer. That shapes every recommendation: it has to be maintainable by the people who are actually there.
You should be able to explain your own infrastructure to someone else after talking to us. If an explanation only works in jargon, we have not finished explaining it.
No configuration that exists only in someone’s memory or a console tab. If it is not in the repository, it is not done.
We will tell you when the cheaper option is good enough, and when a migration is not worth the disruption. Recommending less work is part of the job.
A strategy deck nobody executes is worth nothing. We do the work, and we stay long enough to see whether it held up.
Documentation and runbooks come as standard. If you outgrow us or hire in-house, you should be able to take over without a rescue project.
We start with how you actually operate — what breaks, what it costs, what you are planning for — before proposing any architecture. Most of the useful decisions get made here.
You get the proposed architecture, the sequence, the timeline and the cost in writing, in language you can evaluate. If something is uncertain, we say so rather than padding an estimate.
Work is staged so your business keeps running. Anything risky happens in a window you agree to, with a tested way back.
We document what we built and walk your team through it. You should never be dependent on us for information about your own systems.
Infrastructure drifts. We stay on for monitoring, patching and cost review — or hand it over cleanly if you would rather run it yourself.
Our blog is where the working details go — the Terraform patterns, the AWS edge cases, and the automation we reuse across projects. It is a fair sample of what it is like to work with us.
Tell us what you are running today and what you would like to stop worrying about.
